Back in the USA!

My husband and I are back from a month in Botswana and Namibia on a photo safari/photography course. I think I am finally beginning to understand the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Sort of.

It was an inopportune time to be out of the country because my book had just launched, but this trip was planned a year ago, so…. However, I did manage to interest our just-met companions on the safari Land Rovers in the story. Bill took this photo of me holding the book in the Johannesburg Airport right before we boarded our flight to The Bush of Botswana. As it turned out, another couple we did not yet know were on the same flight and watched us, so when we got to Chitabe Camp and started chatting, they mentioned they had seen the book and were even sure they had read reviews!
