ON THE ROAD IN BURMA

The internet is working in Yangon (formerly Rangoon), Burma, so here are a few photos from some of the places we’ve been during last week’s internet-less world.  Eventually I will write something about this country but it is overwhelming right now–the ancient temples and pagodas, dirt-poor villages and wealthy parts of Yangon, elderly women with facial tattoos and monks with cell phones.  Where to begin?  I have to think about it but meanwhile….some unedited photos.
